an approximate 4hour drive from the Ferry port of St Malo & 6 hours from
Boulogne.

We always preferred the Portsmouth to St Malo crossing
(overnight) to get to the Poitou Charentes. A lovely way to start the
holiday! Land in the morning and you're here by lunch.

There are small, but modern airports, at both Poitiers and La Rochelle, both
of which are about an hour away from us at Courtanne. There are also flights
to other parts of France from other UK airports.
